FumeCAB 700 ESD
FumeCAB 700 ESD
Partial enclosures are becoming the recommended extraction option for a variety of applications. Government bodies, including the HSE in the UK are now making direct reference through guidance documentation such as the new HSG258 to their use.
The FumeCAB 700 ESD integrated filtration system has been designed to ensure compliance with the latest regulations. The innovative Cam filter change design enables safe and simple front loading filter replacement and provides many benefits over alternative rear access systems.
Ultra-bright slim line energy saving LED lights come as standard with optional UV lighting, making the FumeCAB 700 ESD an ideal choice for applications such as the conformal coating of PCBs, where operators can now easily identify uniformity issues with the coating.

Key features of the FumeCAB 700 ESD
BOFA uses mini pleat design HEPA (high efficiency particulate air) filters which are tested and certified to a minimum efficiency of 99.997% down to 0.3 microns and 95% as small as 0.1 micron. They incorporate a series of webbing between the pleated media. This feature not only guarantees even spacing for full filter coverage between each pleat, but also alleviates the possibility of airflow vibration or collapse.
Automatic flow control (AFC) technology
Automatic flow control (AFC) allows the operator to preset the correct airflow rates for the specific application, subsequently maintaining the airflow. This generates lower noise levels and ensures further protection of the more expensive HEPA filters.
Reverse flow air (RFA) technology
The RFA technology feature causes a fall in velocity and air direction change. Larger particulate falls out of the airstream into the filter’s drop out chamber. With less particulate entering the filter media the filter life is significantly increased, enhancing filter capture performance and ensure longer life.
Advanced carbon filter (ACF) technology
ACF assures safe capture and removal of hazardous fumes.
Contaminated air must remain in contact with the carbon bed for a period of time sufficient to ensure that no contaminants or odours are emitted (‘dwell time’). Our filters have been developed to capture all contaminants and odours, eliminating the risk of bypass and/or tunnelling.
ProTECT service plan
Our PROtect LEV service plan and compliance certification has been designed to give you the peace of mind that your LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) systems are being expertly maintained throughout their working life and you are kept within government guidelines and regulations in the UK.
