PrintPRO 1200 DS
PrintPRO 1200 DS
The PrintPRO 1200 DS is an extraction and filtration unit purposely designed for dye-sublimation printers. A series of coalescing filters trap glycol mist and combine it into larger droplets. These droplets then drip away from the filter when the extractor is stopped due to its reverse flow design. An automatic drain located in the base of the unit will open as soon as the extractor stops. This allows the glycol to exit the machine and be collected in the provided collection tray.
A hydrophobic HEPA filter is fitted as standard and an optional gas filter can also be fitted when the application requires it.
BOFA’s automatic flow control feature is also included to ensure both optimum filter efficiency and long life.

Key features of the PrintPRO 1200 DS

HEPA filter
BOFA uses mini pleat design HEPA (high efficiency particulate air) filters which are tested and certified to a minimum efficiency of 99.997% down to 0.3 microns and 95% as small as 0.1 micron. They incorporate a series of webbing between the pleated media. This feature not only guarantees even spacing for full filter coverage between each pleat, but also alleviates the possibility of airflow vibration or collapse.

Automatic flow control (AFC) technology
Automatic flow control (AFC) allows the operator to preset the correct airflow rates for the specific application, subsequently maintaining the airflow. This generates lower noise levels and ensures further protection of the more expensive HEPA filters.

Reverse flow air (RFA) technology
The RFA technology feature causes a fall in velocity and air direction change. Larger particulate falls out of the airstream into the filter’s drop out chamber. With less particulate entering the filter media the filter life is significantly increased, enhancing filter capture performance and ensure longer life.

Advanced carbon filter (ACF) technology
ACF assures safe capture and removal of hazardous fumes.
Contaminated air must remain in contact with the carbon bed for a period of time sufficient to ensure that no contaminants or odours are emitted (‘dwell time’). Our filters have been developed to capture all contaminants and odours, eliminating the risk of bypass and/or tunnelling.

ProTECT service plan
Our ProTECT LEV service plan and compliance certification has been designed to give you the peace of mind that your LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) systems are being expertly maintained throughout their working life and you are kept within government guidelines and regulations in the UK.

SureCHECK quality standard
We recognise that quality, health and safety and environmental management are integral to our management. SureCHECK is far more than just written words, it touches every employee and is engrained within the company’s culture and business ethos. It is applied consistently across all our business activities on a world-wide basis.
