T 30A

Centralised tip extraction for lead and lead-free solder applications.

The T 30A high vacuum unit has been designed to help extract and filter fumes and debris through small bore hoses. Ideally suited to hand soldering iron tip extraction, the unit will help protect up to 30 operators. The unit can also be used for vac pens and any application requiring close proximity, micro extraction.

Automatic flow control comes as standard. This allows the unit to be set to the optimum flow rate to suit the number of operators connected to the system. The unit will then maintain the set airflow over the life of the filters.

Key features of the T 30A

HEPA filter technology

HEPA filter

BOFA uses mini pleat design HEPA (high-efficiency particulate air) filters which are tested and certified to a minimum efficiency of 99.995% down to 0.3 microns and 95% as small as 0.1 microns. They incorporate a series of webbing between the pleated media. This feature not only has even spacing for full filter coverage between each pleat but also helps to alleviate the possibility of airflow vibration or collapse.
AFC technology

Automatic flow control (AFC) Technology

Automatic flow control (AFC) allows the operator to pre-set the correct airflow rates for the specific application, subsequently helping to maintain the airflow. This generates lower noise levels and helps to protect the more expensive HEPA filters.
ACF technology

Advanced carbon filter (ACF) technology

ACF helps to capture and filter potentially hazardous fumes. Contaminated air must remain in contact with the carbon bed for a period of time sufficient to help ensure that no contaminants or odours are emitted (‘dwell time’). Our filters have been developed to help capture contaminants and odours, helping to eliminate the risk of bypass and/or tunnelling.

ProTECT service plan

Our ProTECT LEV service plan and compliance certification has been designed to give you the peace of mind that your LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) systems are being expertly maintained throughout their working life and you are kept within government guidelines and regulations in the UK.

SureCHECK quality standard

We recognise that quality, health and safety and environmental management are integral to our management. SureCHECK is far more than just written words, it touches every employee and is engrained within the company’s culture and business ethos. It is applied consistently across all our business activities on a world-wide basis.
