FumeCAB 700
FumeCAB 700
Partial enclosures are becoming the recommended extraction option for a variety of applications. Government bodies, including the HSE in the UK, are now making direct reference through guidance documentation – such as HSG258 – to their use. The FumeCAB 700 integrated filtration system has been designed to help ensure compliance with the latest regulations. The innovative cam filter change design helps to enable safe and simple front-loading filter replacement and provides many benefits over alternative rear access systems. Ultra-bright slim line energy-saving LED lights come as standard with optional UV lighting.
Optional: Kit for conformal coating processes
Optional: ESD compatible

Key features of the FumeCAB 700

HEPA filter
BOFA uses mini pleat design HEPA (high-efficiency particulate air) filters which are tested and certified to a minimum efficiency of 99.995% down to 0.3 microns and 95% as small as 0.1 microns. They incorporate a series of webbing between the pleated media. This feature not only has even spacing for full filter coverage between each pleat but also helps to alleviate the possibility of airflow vibration or collapse.

Automatic flow control (AFC) technology
Automatic flow control (AFC) allows the operator to pre-set the correct airflow rates for the specific application, subsequently helping to maintain the airflow. This generates lower noise levels and helps to protect the more expensive HEPA filters.

Reverse flow air (RFA) technology
The RFA technology feature causes a fall in velocity and air direction change. Larger particulate falls out of the airstream into the filter’s drop-out chamber. With less particulate entering the filter media the filter life is significantly increased, helping to enhance filter capture performance and help ensure longer life.

Advanced carbon filter (ACF) technology
ACF helps to capture and filter potentially hazardous fumes. Contaminated air must remain in contact with the carbon bed for a period of time sufficient to help ensure that no contaminants or odours are emitted (‘dwell time’). Our filters have been developed to help capture contaminants and odours, helping to eliminate the risk of bypass and/or tunnelling.

ProTECT service plan
Our ProTECT LEV service plan and compliance certification has been designed to give you the peace of mind that your LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) systems are being expertly maintained throughout their working life and you are kept within government guidelines and regulations in the UK.
