BOFA attends launch of Extraction Manufacturers and Designers Association

Recently, BOFA’s MD Tony Lockwood and Technical Manager John Horsey, attended the launch of ‘EMADA’ (Extraction Manufacturers and Designers Association). Working in conjunction with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), their aim is to promote the use of properly designed and installed Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems, by raising the standard, quality and awareness of the LEV systems used by industries. To ensure industries receive the best solutions, association members will be promoting good practices and standards, for both systems and people.

HSE has launched the ‘Go home healthy’ initiative to help promote better health in Britain’s workplaces. HSE’s new ‘HSG 258’ guideline explains in more detail.

We look forward to working closely with thought leaders in the industry to continue promoting the cause for healthy working environments.
